Issue with Controlled folder access

I just discovered that with the new "Controlled folder access" feature in Windows 10 turned on, some program shortcuts could not be pasted on the desktop

My desktop was one of the protected folders by default; as I turned it off, I could paste the shortcuts

Well I guess that is one way of showing that it works. Even on the Desktop folder. Thanks for the info Partha
