BIOS ROM file
#1
Hi All
Thanks for taking the time reading my Question::
Ok I have an ASUS P6X58d-E motherboard that i would like to Flash the BIOS on , I'v Downloaded the ROM file to my notebook and would like to copy the file to a USB stick so I can transfer it to my Desktop PC . I know the Flash stick must be in FAT32 file System SO my question is Do I just copy and paste the ROM file onto the Flash stick and then just use the EZFlash software built into the BIOS to update or is it more involved then that ??? I only ask because I do not want to brick My board ( Obviously ) . Thanks in advance to any suggestions or and Answers ...
Cheers Guys

yes you can copy from desktop to flash drive

sounds like you are doing everything correctly just make the computer don't lose power when upgrading  bios
