realtek audio was essentially crap. no matter what i did to improve the sound to my specifications, the sound still was muffled as if it was in mono. however as of yesterday i noticed i didnt have ICE audio installed...got the drivers and the sound is amazing. i dont apologize for talking down about realtek. thats the way it is and im sticking to my guns.
