What are these keys supposed to do?

transmitworker and priorityboost

A piece of software i came across while experimenting with xp that is called gamexp and after using the program it added the 2 keys to the hklm/currentcontrolset/services/afd]
Priorityboost=a
Transmit worker=10

(Both hexvalues)

Its a poorly made program called gamexp that tweaks visual effects, hardware,speed up internet,services,and cosmetics

But after seeing what the program was about it had the usual mythical tweaks but i havent seen.

These tweak are very old and are designed for Win 2000 and Windows XP 
These was the times of 56K Modems and you could use tools to tweak.
Some people still use these software and believe they improve internet performance, I think nowadays its all a placebo effect.
