When the pc is powered on the light turns red and pc starts beeping (i beleive its 6 short beeps then stops and starts all over again)

So i took the ram out and put in a ram stick i know that works with the dx7300 slim tower and fires up with no problems besides the hard drive notification is displayed.

So i took the ram the 4gb of ram and put it in my dell and no problems

4 x 1GB PC2 5300U Non-ECC DDR2 667 240pin DIMM

WD2500AVVS 320GB

Well i got the problem solved by gradually changing out each 512 module for a 1gb module (turning off the computer after each successful boot after each module )
