So you can't install programs and receiving error Error status 0xc0000020
You can't run any repairs on Windows without it failing.

I would suggest you backup your data in case your hard drive is failing.
I would then consider reinstalling Windows to see if this resolves your problem. If not then its possible hardware issue.
You're limited to what you can do because nothing is running or fixing the corrupt operating system files
I don't like reinstalling a machine, but I am worried that you could have a hard drive issue and its a high risk of losing your data.

Once data is backed up i don't mind trying some more fix's if you don't want to reinstall, but you do have corrupt OS files as seen in sfc /scannow, that will create a log which will give us more information.

Hey brian, i was looking around on the computer and there was a link to crystaldisk info  when i clicked on it, it showed my hard drive info, i posted a screenshot of it, if its not the hard drive, could it be my memory?

Your options are:
  • System Restore and hope this resolves your issue.
  • Reset this PC ( Try keep files option )
  • Clean Install (Wipe the system clean and start again)
If problem goes away, then it was software related. If the problem arises again then its hardware related and start with testing your memory.

Glad you got that issue resolve. Corrupt System Files can be hard to fix sometimes without a clean install. Thread Closed.
