I uninstalled OneDrive from Control Panel. I have been using OneDrive from Windows 7 even though I am now on Windows 10. It makes no difference I still cannot remove the OneDrive folder inside C:\Users\Ron Barker. Unlocker cannot remove it either.

Comment: I really is very unfair for Microsoft to force unwanted updates and for the update to mess up users computer without any real assistance to put things back together again.
Created Restore Point Backup Registry
Disabled Windows search
Unlocker was able to delete OneDrive after reboot
I was able to then delete C:\Users\Ron Barker
Changed Registry Key Ron Barker.000 to Ron Barker
Closed Registry and rebooted.
Unable to sign into my account (3 times temporary profiles)
Tried to use system restore would not work
Could not use Registry Backup because it was not present on temporary profile
Went back to registry and changed Ron Barker back to Ron Barker.000
Rebooted back into Ron Barker.000
User\Ron Barker was back and so was OneDrive inside it
Merged Registry Backup message failed but when I checked the temporary profiles had gone and it was back to where it started
I have just used Unlocker to delete and OneDrive and I have deleted User Ron Barker (the three temp profiles are still not sure if I should delete them)
PS: User Ron Barker is back along with OneDrive inside it! ( I think that it may have been enabling Windows search that brought it back)

Brian, thanks. I did email you last evening but maybe I did not do it correctly.
Today I had two Microsoft 'experts' trying to fix the issue. After about half an hour they logged off without any explanation, but I got their drift, they could not fix it.
However, during the process they downloaded ioUnlocker which is more sophisticated than the Unlocker that I used.
When attempting to unlock C:\Users\Ron Barker\OneDrive it not only shows the OneDrive folder to be unlocked, it also shows C\windows\System32\SearchIndexeer.exe. That is what is preventing the deletion of OneDrive and that is why I could delete it when I turned off Windows Search in Services.exe. (But as soon as I restarted Windows Search it recreated OneDrive).
OneDrive in C:\Users\Ron Barker.000 is not locked; although I am not sure the folder is where it should be or if it matters.
The problem is that there is no Ron Barker in the Registry! There is of course a Ron Barker.000 (So there is a problem with my first thought, which was to copy all the files in Ron Barker.000 to Ron Barker).
What I think I need to do is connect OneDrive in Ron Barker.000 to SearchIndexeer.exe (Not sure if I can then change its name to Ron Barker?

Backup data of that user profile and then create a new profile, then delete old profiles and then rename new profile Ron Barker. Other than that I am not sure what else you can do.
