what is the model of the system for some reason it does not show up
is it onboard sound or a sound card by itself?

this should give me the model number boot up Linux once more Put in earphones then check for sound

ok this maybe the problem is that the onboard sound doesn't have any driver that was built for win10
so what happens when you install windows 10 it will use a generic sound driver which what could have happened is that with win10 new build the generic may have stopped working now what I would do is to download Snappy Driver to see if I download a driver for the sound I will post on how you can get a driver using Snappy Driver tomorrow if I have time

I let SD install the drivers, rebooted and it still didn't work. Tried it 3 - 4 times. Sometimes after reboot I get a message that says 'must reboot to install device so something.'
