4K resolution issues Windows 10
#1
Hi all

Hoping someone can support the in the right direction

So I've recently just purchased a LG 55 4K UHD TV, having connected it to my desktop PC I'm struggling to get 4K resolution in the display panel and only seeing options up to 1920x108 as the highest resolution I can pick. Now I can manually do this within the Nvidia Control Panel, but not too sure if this is the correct path to follow.

Not that there really needed I know, but also have new 4K HDMI cables

Any advice or suggestions of what I need to do would be fantastic

OS - Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU - Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.20GHz Kaby Lake 14nm Technology
RAM - 16.0GB Dual-Channel @ 1066MHz (16-16-16-39)
Motherboard - ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. MAXIMUS IX HERO (LGA1151)
Graphics 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (EVGA)

1st TV – LG UHD 55” 3 X HDMI Ports 2.0
2nd Monitor - Samsung 22” Curved 1 x HDMI Port 2.0

Hi

Please see attached as requested, 2 x Windows Display setting and 1 x NIVIDA setting (as you can see I have set 4K within NIVIDA, but not sure is really working)

Thank you

Hi all

For no apparent reason the resolution issue as resolved itself and I'm now seeing the options within the display panel and now getting 4K resolution.

I wish I could let you know what I did but it seemed to resolved itself somehow.

Thank you
