Can ESD damage computer components?
#1
Static (ESD) is no myth and ESD damage is real. Dave shows how static is casing a issue with this new 4K monitor. Don't be fooled by people telling you that you won't damage components, there is always a risk of damage from static. Because you see 100s of people building computers and holding components without discharging themselves, don't mean it won't harm the hardware if it gets hit with ESD.
