Hard Drive Failure Sounds

if your getting a strange noise from your hard drive you should consider backing up your data while you can.

Not sure what sound you hard drive is making? Well this link is provided for informational use only. You can use it to sample some of the hard drive failure sounds that have been record to help you determine if your drive is going bad or about to fail.

I would even take that a step further and recommend backing up immediately if your computer starts randomly crashing even if you don't hear any funny noise. With hard drives it's not if it's going to die.... It's when.
