WD My Passport Spins Up Will Not Transfer Any Data Anymore Have checked USB by replacing with one verified as good
Same thing light on drive comes on and can feel Spinning Drive does not show up in my PC or when going into Command Prompt using diskpart

Need a software way of recovering important data so I can transfer the data to our replacement backup external drive to return it to WD for the warranty return and replacement Unfortunately this never happened on any of our other drives which are G Tech video editing drives. This took place after i used this WD drive on my on location partners computer which had a bad USB port Should have purchased the Amazon data recovery plan with this WD Drive when purchased

it could be hard drive failing

i would try another computer to see if you can transfer any data
