HP - PAVILION P6-2003W RUNNING WINDOWS 10, 1803 – SHUTDOWN PROBLEM
#21
Hmm - I'm going to need you to explain that if you don't mind.

It sounds as if you're thinking I need to go fishing with my multimeter, or try to get access to a logic probe and look for defects on the motherboard; if so, if you'll remember, I replaced the old motherboard with a new one, so it would hard for me to fathom both motherboards having the exact same issue.

(And if that isn't what you meant, then please excuse me... I'm kinda' old school -- the 80486 microprocessor was the "king of the hill" back when I graduated as a certified computer electronics tech; and I haven't worked in that field since the late 1990's -- [Pentium II and III]. And although I've never stopped "tinkering" with computers, [troubleshooting/upgrades/rebuilds, etc]; please excuse any displayed ignorance on my part...) Smile

Circuit breakers are fine. // Power outlet is exquisite (~120VAC USA).
