Good afternoon everyone,
and Hi Brian, 12 hrs ago Windows 10 updated to KB4343909 (OS Build 17134.228) with the Spectre fix and other 'improvements'.
I Had previously disabled auto updating. But obviously not adequately for Win10.
I am still assessing the damage but It has 'trashed/changed' many functions and settings inc PLEX, start up settings and overall OS speed. The main issue ATM is my 24TB Plex Media Library being completely out of comission.
> I have worked with computers for many years but can't seem to fix any of these issues found so far using classical methods un/re installing SW etc. etc. All my trouble shooting has led nowhere.
>There is also not the Rollback feature as displayed in the June 18th Britec Tutorial on Youtu.be
Also the Update does not display as an Uninstalable Update.
Is it possible to "Nuke this update from orbit" till a better one comes along.
PS FYI, I neglected to secure a recent System Image to back up from.. DOH.!
Ideas any one.?
Oh and I would be very Interested in other users experience with this update.
