Repair install error message

Hi,
I found the following BRITEC video on youtube and thought my problems were over working on my step dads pc. I followed the instructions per the video and got the following error message:

"The language or edition of the version of Windows currently installed on your PC isn't supported by this tool"

He has the FREE UPDATE version of Windows 10 Pro on his pc. We are going to attempt to use an image created with the media tool and see if that works but was curious why the error message when we tried the way described in the video. We want to do a repair without losing anything.

it could be something at startup that stoping program from running correctly

could be malware

do a clean boot then check
