Hi Compton,
Thanks so much for your prompt attention to my difficulties

Just for clarification regarding the compromised clients HD.
Would you suggest that
1. The fat lady has entered the auditorium
2. The fat lady is clearing her voice to sing
3. Or is the fat lady preparing to take her first breath?

Is there any chance the HD could be repaired using software tools?

Thanks
Phil

PhilipMoore1953 the fat lady's comments are a bit inappropriate please remember

it's a public forum I know sometimes we can forget but please be careful what you post

when it comes to hard drive hard to say how long it will last from what I am seeing not very long

at this point, using software to help repair the hard drive  will not help

Hello, Compton and Timster,

As has always been the case when accessing your amazing forum your advice proved if you don't mind one from the states using a bit of British slang.... SPOT ON!
I apologize for the inappropriate comments in which my reference was poor. I believe I'm in a older culture than you guys and that was my mistake.

The new hard drive I installed windows 7 is installed with all updates completed yada yada. I have installed Malwareybytes as the antivirus. HD is defragged. Ran MB and Zemana to check for any infections. Computer is running like a new machine!

Can you think of anything I've missed?

Thanks again guys!

Example Britec had a live stream a few months back

Britec said they just like  to pull your pants  down

then this guy said sir please don't pull your  pants  down you are being inappropriate

but we know in British it means you get ripped off

I know were The fat lady  British slang. come from  cricket

but some people may think you are making jokes off of fat people

glad you get the problem fix sounds like you get everything cover

Hi Compton,

Please advise if I need to start a new post for this question.
Thanks so much for letting me know you truly are as I think I am human. LOL
Strutting about thinking I had all issues resolved I've now run into an issue with an error code
"The application was unable to start Correctly" (error code 0xc0000142).

I've been through tutorials talking about Intel update drivers issues which I've followed which didn't help.
I went to programs and uninstalled the INTEL update drivers program
Still have the code.

I've run the SFC using the system file checker still have the error code.
I've run DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

still error code.

Look forward to hearing from you
Phil
