Help With restoring Flash Drive contents
#1
Hi,
My clients issue is that there is data which has been placed on a flash drive that is needed to be recovered.

When plugging in the flash drive into my computer the computer doesn't recognize the flash drive.

I have purchased the EaseUS professional data recovery program but am not sure how to go about finding the flash drive to recover data from.

the flash drive has critical data which is important to be recovered

I look forward to hearing from you..

Well let's start here was the data deleted off the flash drive?

Or is,that the flash drive,is not being recognized ?

If that's the case then flash drive is failing

The best option is to take it a data recovery center

What you can try is boot up Linux to see if you can see the data

The flash drive is being recognized in Device managment I followed directions by changing the drive letter which did not reslove the issue.
Are there other things that can be done to resolve the issue?

Seems like if it is recognized in Device management that there should be an answer to getting my computer to recognize it.
The flash drive does make an audible sound when plugging the device into the computer.

Thanks!

  1. open device  manager
  2. select disk drives
  3. select the  flash drives
  4. right click
  5. select uninstall
  6. restart your computer
