I was watching Britec just to add here

if you look at Britec video them scam bags website are using https

now the reason I am pointing this out is that people may see Https

thinking the site is safe you better think again

yeah the thing is them scam bags will tell people its using https it's secure

the world is becoming more rootless every day only making it hard on the good guys

You can definitely tell its a scam when the webpage cant be closed until you open up the task manager and end task your firefox or whatever web browser you use very irritating

Hi, I opine I often wonder if Brian is showing these videos on scams and if the buttons are clicked to load them, does this affect this with any at risk eg logging on; ie how are possible malware programs thus exposed then cleaned on delete, to keep the online forum safe to use. I am confident it probably is, though I opine it would be nice to be reassured.

guess you are asking how those scammer websites pop up in the first place

when you go on to a website it may load ads which may then cause them scammer websites to popup

it's important to note not all websites that load Ads have scammers websites most of the time it will be dodgy websites that have it

like Britec said you have no risk of getting malware or of it login into your computer

now I think one of the main ways to stop them Ublock

now let me be clear I am not saying you should use Ublock to block Ads

if it's trustworthy then, by all means, whitelist that site the same for youtube or any other platform

I do hope people understand that

now the reason I said Ublock is because you can block popups

Ublock is also great for blocking malicious website

I want to point this again if a website is trustworthy remember to whitelist it

like Britec website & youtube channel we can trust the good old guy
