Hard Drives not picked up in Windows or Bios
#11
Hi Brian thanks for the link

I read through it.

I'm awaiting for a new Sata IDE Adapter and also my Caddie to test, but ultimately I need to get this to a local computer place with a test bench where they can find out whats going on.
It sounds to me the Sata Configuration of the drives has messed up or it could be a problem with the Sata Controller on my aging motherboard so will have to see what happens.

EDIT
Another thing has come to mind - as I said in the beginning one of my HDD's is controlled by a Sata PCI Card one of these: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815158207
I know the driver is installed as it was working before I attempted to make a change by adding this hard drive, that drive is powered obviously by a Sata Power Molex and the Data Cable in the the Card - now that drive isn't seen at all!

I'm wondering if its a faulty PSU?
