few reasons why it's pointing to a motherboard problem is because
- more than one hard drives not showing bios
- memory problems
- Sata controller problems
This sounds like the culprit too, I've now tooken the plunge to get new parts so all should be well.
Can sell the CPU and Memory weather I can sell the Mobo remains unknown.
