Clock Watch Dog Time Out BSOD
#1
So I've now rebuilt my Computer with the following:

https://www.novatech.co.uk/products/msi-b450-gaming-plus-amd-am4-b450-chipset-atx-motherboard/b450gamingplus.html

https://www.novatech.co.uk/products/amd-ryzen-5-2600-six-core-processor-with-wraith-stealth-cooler/yd2600bbafbox.html

I've got Windows 10 installed as for some reason Windows 7 doesn't like my USB Keyboard so I can't navagate!

Since then I've had all drives installed but I've ran into a snag where I'm getting Random Freezing and then BSOD With the Error Code:

"Clock Watch Dog Time Out"

Anyone know for a fix for this?

Many thanks!

When I ram "Who Crashed" this is the error report.......

On Sun 17/03/2019 08:42:40 your computer crashed or a problem was reported
crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\031719-8796-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14CC20)
Bugcheck code: 0x101 (0x10, 0x0, 0xFFFFD00160DD8180, 0xA)
Error: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation

Bug check description: This indicates that an expected clock interrupt on a secondary processor, in a multi-processor system, was not received within the allocated interval. This can be caused by non-responding hardware or by a overheated CPU (thermal issue).
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

Ile have a go and see what happens.

Is there a way I can install Windows 7?

When I tried to install it my USB Keyboard and Mouse Keeps Shutting on at the start of the set up process and I can't proceed?

The problem can cause by the bios maybe the update will fix

It can also be caused if you plug in USB Keyboard and Mouse into USB 3 port

Just a word of advice I would stay with windows 10 because windows 7 support will end soon

I have the latest Bios Installed.

According to my motherboard manual I have two usb 2.0 type A near the PS/2?

Maybe I will have to stick to 10 now for the best.

Yes, that would be correct you do have two USB 2.0 near the PS/2

After you update the drivers let us known if you get any BSOD

I tried to load Windows 7 earlier today with my Keyboard in the USB 2.0 nothing works when trying to navigate to install Windows, but it does with Windows 10!

Drivers were all updated problem still happens.

This issue I think is leading to a problem with the CPU from the error I showed you earlier today.

It's pointing to memory issues its unlikely the CPU

How many memory stick do you have installed ?

If it's more than one memory stick , remove all memory stick, leaving one install

then check to see if it bsod
