I had the same Problem coming from 1803 it just would not update/upgrade
Even with the USB/ESD so i tried Windows Update Assistant; Just have your
Product Key available and give it time to load.. your screen will go dark/black
And reset it's self a few times but it's loading windows Drivers...Good Luck
Make sure your do a full Backup and a Temp Restore Point and turn off your
Anti Virus software.
