How to Post Your System Specs in the Forums Using Speccy

Posting up your system specs takes some of the guess work out of trying to help with solving your computer problems. Using Speccy by Puriform is one of many ways to post your specs.

Download Speccy by Puriform to your computer. (I recommend the portable version)

Extract the zip folder and run the executable (32bit or 64bit)

Click on "File" on the top left and select "Publish Snapshot"
NOTE: AT THIS POINT YOU COULD SIMPLY HIGHLIGHT THE DATA SHOWN IN THE SUMMARY WINDOW, COPY TO CLIPBOARD AND PASTE IN YOUR MESSAGE OR SIMPLY POST UP A SCREENSHOT OF THE SUMMARY WINDOW. PROCEEDING WITH THE FOLLOWING STEPS WILL GIVE MORE OF A IN DEPTH DESCRIPTION OF YOUR COMPUTER.

Click "yes" when prompted to proceed with publish

You will be presented with a link and a option to "Open in Browser" to view your results. Select "Copy to Clipboard" to copy the link provided.

When you are ready to post your specs select the "Insert Link" icon at the top of the message area or simply paste the link in the message area.

This is a great program! Thanks for the recommendation!
Though when you go to click download from this forum there is an add that pops up so you can't click the Download option.
I went straight to filehippo to get it.

(That actually might have been part of the browser hijack in my other post) as it works fine on my main PC

Nope. No issues with the download link, I think your issue is from something else on your system.
Filehippo uses Bundles nowadays, just FYI.
