Xboot - CD/DVD bootable - Minimal Bash like ...
#1
Good afternoon everyone!

From the video BRITEC, link below, was mounted several DVD's from different bootable ISO.

In some DVD's, the boot was normal, it was possible to access all recorded there software.

In others, after boot, when the opening of the specific program, there is the message:

[Minimal BASH like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB list possible command completions. anywhere else TAB lists the possible completions of a device / filename.] "

grub>

Note: Remember that some software in the same DVD are operating normally, the other, has the above message.

Thank you for your attention.

I understand little English, but apparently this video, no significant changes to the previous.

In it, there is nothing to do with the difficulty in question.

Very simple to work with this software, but not always everything worked as we imagine.

Compton!

Equipment is Windows 7 64.

I did not well placement. . . windows 8. I imagine that has little to do with the OS, but with XBoot software.

I went to get more information about the XBoot and report that there are many bugs. . . Who knows, the subject above, is one of them.

I recorded again on DVD, the same files and there was no difficulty mentioned above. Program runs, but lock in some testing options that it has. I will test in due course in pen drive and see how it works.

Brian! (?)

What I am seeking is to provide the software and bootable DVD as there are cases, few, older equipment, or USB does not work very well, where only the DVD use is possible. . . So I was testing the Xboot.

In fact, easy2boot is the software I use for some time in getting Pen drive bootable.

Since we speak of it, even if it is not the subject of this post, troubleshooting, in Easy2Boot when:

1. Either ISO not contiguous.

Note: I tried to defragment the ISO did not work.

You lost me a little bit, are you saying you want to boot UBCD and ISOs like it from DVD?
