Hi this is not exactly a tutorial so please move this post if necessary. I have been given a link to this tool System Restore Explorer
I am hoping that the experts on the forum could have a look at it and comment? Many thanks.

I'll second ShadowExplorer. Just used it to recover some files for a customer who got hit by the cryptowall 3.
