So I recently installed my first Video Graphics Card and I have a few questions. For some reason when my computer starts up I get the ASRock logo and then I get 8 green dashes on the upper left corner. When I ran registry defrag on boot up, all I got was the same 8 dashes along with other dashes on the very top edge of the screen instead of the status of the defrag in progress. How do I correct that?
Also is there way to completely uninstall the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver? If not then why won't the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel work any more after double clicking it? Is it because the AMD Catalyst Control Center no supersedes it? I had no response in another forum. I hope I have better luck here.
