How To Create MultiBoot USB Flash Drive (Windows 7 And XP)Now forget use of CD/DVD for install Windows OS on computers and laptops. By help of this complete guide you can use your 4 Gb Pen-Drive as Multiboot Windows installer. Means you can use your pen drive for install Windows 7 and XP.
Required things:1. A USB flash drive with a minimum of 4 GB space
2. Windows 7 installation DVD
3. Windows XP installation CD/DVD
Next Process:1. Insert your 4Gb pendrive in your system USB. You can use more then 4Gb like 8Gb. But minimum requirement is 4GB for multiboot usb drive.
2. Download:
[WinSetupFromUsb]. After download and install setup file it will create desktop shortcut icon
double click on it for start.
3. Now set following options before proceed to next step. Please confirm “
USB Disk Selection” showing your USB device and
BOOT.INI adjustment showing
/WINDOWS. After check these options click on
RMPrepUSB button.

4. After click on
RMPrepUSB button you will get new windows. Please make sure all your option same like below image.
>>FILESYSTEM and OVERRIDES a)NTFS b) Boot as HDD(2PTNS)
>>BOOT OPTIONS a) XP bootable [NTLDR]
5. After all these settings finally press
Prepare Drive Button. After press it will show small message click on
OK.


6. Now Formatting option will start and wail till command prompt end own work and message saying “
Operation Completed”.
Sometime process not complete and show error of failed then don’t worry open you pen drive property and check its showing File System NTFS or not if showing NTFS then you can go with next step.
7. Close the
PREPUSB tool after complete operation message.
8. Now insert your
XP CD/DVD in drive and Click on
Browse button and select your
XP files source. You can also copy all XP CD files on your Hard Drive and browse local XP files folder.


9. Now time for Press
Go Button. When you press Go button you can see progress bar and copying files names. After complete process one dialog box will open same as below. Press
OK Button.

10. Now remove XP CD/DVD and
Insert Windows 7 DVD in drive or you can copy whole Win 7 DVD on computer and locate path. Select
Vista/7 setup/PE/RecoveryISO option and browse to the Windows 7 installation files folder or CD/DVD location. Finally, click
Go button. Progress bar will start again after click on
Go button.
Note: Please note that this operation may take long time according to system speed and Usb drive speed. If you find message on application title bar like “Not Responding” don’t close application it will automatic remove after complete process.
11. After complete process application will show
Done button. Please press on
Done button before go for exit application.

Now your pen drive is ready for use. Just Insert usb any system you want to start installation and choose Boot from Removal device option from BIOS. You will boot option screen same like this.

You can see
XP Setup- First part and Second part it means that when you select this option you will get two more option
First part of Windows XP and
Second part of Windows XP. For first time fresh installation press
First part of Windows XP after setup complete with all Windows files copied and system restart again next time press
Second part of Windows XP if you select again First part of Windows XP setup will start again in starting mode.
