Solution

If you have Acronis True Image Home installed already, please jump to step 6 and continue.

1. Download Acronis True Image from its official website.



2. Install Acronis True Image Home, you need to enter the product serial number, or program will work in the trial mode (fully functional within 30 days).



3. The program contains "Acronis True Image Home" and "Rescue Media Builder" components, if you have the need to create rescue media (CD/DVD or USB Disk), just select "Complete" type to continue.



4. After installation, you need to restart Windows for the configuration changes to take effect.



5. Acronis One-Click Backup will dialog box will pop up to remind you schedule a backup. In this time, you can cancel it.



6. Enter "Recovery" tab, and then click "Disk Recovery" at the right side.



7. Choose your system image file path, click Next.



8. Now you can choose the recovery method. In this case, please select "Recover whole disks and partitions".



9. In the next step, you can select items included in backup image file.



10. Depending on your selection, you will have the chance to specify recover settings of partition and/or MBR. If you are not familiar with them, keep the default settings will be a good choice.
