How to Resize Acronis Secure Zone with Acronis True Image Home

Solution

Acronis provided the function to create a special partition, which called Acronis Secure Zone, for storing backups on your disk. With the help of that partition, your data can be protected from virus attack as well as careless file deletion. Somehow the plan is always rearranged, you may want to Resize it after the creation of Acronis Secure Zone...

If you have Acronis True Image Home installed already, please jump to step 6 and continue.

1. Download Acronis True Image from its official website.



2. Install Acronis True Image Home, you need to enter the product serial number, or program will work in the trial mode (fully functional within 30 days).



3. The program contains "Acronis True Image Home" and "Rescue Media Builder" components, if you have the need to create rescue media (CD/DVD or USB Disk), just select "Complete" type to continue.



4. After installation, you need to restart Windows for the configuration changes to take effect.



5. Acronis One-Click Backup will dialog box will pop up to remind you schedule a backup. In this time, you can cancel it.



6. Switch to "Tools & Utilities" tab, and then "Manage Acronis Secure Zone".



7. Now you can select the action.



8. For increasing or decreasing the size, you can specify a partiton to spare or receive the space.



9. And then specify the new size for Acronis Secure Zone.



10. Click Next and then proceed the operation.



11. Now your Acronis Secure Zone has been resized.
