I listened to Brian on the Podnutz podcast a week or so back and he recommended the Tizer Rootkit Razor on there - but I can't find any mention of it on here.
Does anyone else use it? Recommend it? etc

everyone, I had all end of trouble getting rid of a rootkit and then downloaded Combofix problems all solved sit back and relax crack a beer wait follow the instructions and away you go saved me hour of frustration waiting on Avast free doing a 10 hour scan and then still not deleting it. Superantispyware is good but Malwarebytes could not fix it and so could Hitman pro failed admit not given the other here a go but Combofix brilliant I would like Brian's opinion on Combo fix thanks take care tmy

Brian, what do you mean regarding Combofix it is automatic how can it hurt things could you expand on this as it is always best to be careful. Brian did you have a chance to test Zinstall ? It's the program that claims to make upgrading from XP to Windows 7 a breeze claims to let you access all programs from your old install and gives you a icon on the task bar like switching channels on TV ? Take care Brian nice to know your still around we need you we love you ................... What more can i say Brian rules OK Take care everyone and listen to what Brian says he is the man. tmy

ComboFix is a program, created by sUBs, that scans your computer for known malware, and when found, attempts to clean these infections automatically. In addition to being able to remove a large amount of the most common and current malware, ComboFix also displays a report that can be used by trained helpers to remove malware that is not automatically removed by the program.
You should not run ComboFix unless you are specifically asked to by a helper. Also, due to the power of this tool it is strongly advised that you do not attempt to act upon any of the information displayed by ComboFix without supervision from someone who has been properly trained. If you do so, it may lead to problems with the normal functionality of your computer.
Note: ComboFix should not be used on computers that have a specific rootkit because it will prompt ComboFix to delete all files from the system drive.
