 Azn All my name is drew and mostly new to this community and i want to clarify that AVG is a horrible program, never use it, here are some reasons;

1: Its not a virus but it doesnt detect any virus's.
2: AVG is not auto protect i tried different malwares on my old windows xp and it didnt even get one.
3: Its just really bad in general.
4: The program has WAY too many futures and can really slow down a computer,really bad trust me.

So all im saying is get Norton 360 or Malwarebytes there the best i ever encountered norton 360 gets you a 90 day trial FREE
and malwarebytes is free as always.

and britec09, if i get anything wrong here please correct me Cheesy

 Azn hewwo there,
thank you for you input it is warmly welcomed. I have to say I fully agree with what you have said AVG has gone down the pan lately and Norton used to be a pile of dung however it has seen a great improvement.

Thank you again for your contribution  hewwo there keep up the good work

Hello Everybody,
                         I have been using AVG free version for about a year on two PCs ( 2010 on one system and 2o11 on another ) and  this soft ware has been working quite nicely, In past I had once used AVG one month trial Version and found it simply amazing . Moreover I known ten persons who are using AVG free version and are satisfied with it.
                          In the past three years I have used almost all well known Anti-Virus software (more than 20 ) and can say that AVG is one of the BEST. I find it Second only to my favorite McAfee. The only disadvantage with AVG Free edition is that its scan is a bit slow. as far as free Anti-virus software are concerned Avg is far ahead of others. I would like to mention a relatively new Anti-virus software 'Quick Heal' , it is really nice anti virus
