How to Remove rootkit virus with RootKit Unhooker

Problem

I suspect that my computer was infected with a rootkit virus, but my antivirus software did not find it, I really feel helpless, can you help me to remove rootkit virus?

Solution

1. Download RootKit Unhooker, unpack and run it.

2. In Report tab click Scan. In the Select pages for Report window, you'd better select all. Click OK to continue

3. In the process of scanning Select Disks for Scan window will appear, you can choose all of the disks, but it will be used more time.

4. Now, the report came out. In this report, you must determine which one is the rootkit.

5. If you find the rootkit, Right-Click the Process or Files and select one way to kill it. If a way fails, you can try other ways.

6. Now the rootkit virus in your computer must be removed.
