I have recently purchased 1tb hd seagate sata II

using as external enclosure, formatted to fat32

because of using on ps3 and pvr system on tv basis and using on pc.

today boot up my pc, windows 7 ultimate

get into my music folder got the above error

tried Pc inspector... for reading drive kept getting error on the program

also tried took out of enclosure put in the pc bios picks it up

windows 7 picks it up

when i go in the hard drive to click on to the folders to extract files get the image error

to format the hdd

now im using the
testdisk program to

1. i presume the MBR bootsector has been erased as it cannot locate the partition of any sort

2. i have put it to analyse the hdd  cylinder quite slow !!! gave about 150 hrs analyse the info

3. i wanted to ask if i do format the hdd via disk managment to ntfs and will i still able to recover the data as it was fat32 hdd

4. i have not deleted any files yet soon i right click the files freezes to ands ask to format
 

please help !!!!

gone bad to worse  now the

p: is not accessible

cant even format the hard drive via virtual disk system

how do i build the partition !

got a long wait of 150hrs for analysing !!!!

1tb hard drive

If you data was on a NTFS setup then Try GetDataBack NTFS

i get the same error message numerous recovery programs

the hd was fat32,

used getdata back for fat

the hd wont even format now
