How to install or uninstall multiple languages in Windows 7


Multiple languages can be installed on a PC to display user interface in the preferred language.

Note: You must download language interface package first from Microsoft website on your PC to install a new language.

To install languages on a PC follow these simple steps:


1) Open Start menu and click Control Panel link.



Step 1

2) In the Control Panel window double click Regional and Language Options as highlighted above

3) In the Regional and Language Options window select Keyboards and Languages tab and click Install/uninstall languages… button



Step 2

4) In the Install or Uninstall Languages window click Install Languages option



Step 3

5) Now click Browse folder… button and navigate to the folder where the language interface package is saved.



Step 4

6) Click Next button and follow the instructions thereafter.


To uninstall languages from a PC follow these simple steps:

1) Open Install or Uninstall Languages window as shown in the above steps



Step 5

2) Now click on Remove languages option

3) Select the language you want to remove and click Next button

4) Follow the instructions thereafter.
