I went through a number of things online trying to remove Windows Media Player 12 and replace it with 7.
The things involved changing administrator permissions, deleting registry items, and disabling windows media features.
I finally got rid of the program but when I installed the 11, the dang thing told me that the program was not installed properly, so I did it again... and again.
About two hours have passed with me searching the web and still no solution.
Then I found out that the program was for 32 bit system and mine is 64 bit.

I have windows 7 and should have just stuck to wmp 12...
Now I have been trying to get it back and there is no way to do that if I have deleted all of the nessecary registry components.
Please...any help on this would be invaluable, I can't synch files to an MP3 player with VLC!
