I need some help, I was given a second hand laptop. But I was not given the previous owner's password, as the person who gave it to me was not given it. So I was wondering if there is way of getting past this, as i can install anything as it keeps asking for the administrator's password. The laptop has windows 7 on it

Sorry for the delay
Is this the power on password (the password it asks for as soon as you turn it on)
The hardive password (the password it asks for as soon as the hard drive spins up)
the windows password ( the password it asks for as soon as windows has finished loading)
