Good afternoon,

I am trying to come up with a reliable and all encompassing back-up of data for a 2003 server machine.  The set-up I have now is to image the server each night using Macrium in a differential or incremental setting.  I have one external disk attached to complete this.  The office each day switches out the external disk for another disk to take off site in-case of fire or theft.  We use 2 external drives that connect to drive G when they attach to the server to accomplish the above. My server specialist does not believe the back-ups are working properly due to using the 2 separate external drives.

My question.  Will the above work and if not. What is a better method of imaging the server each night specifically for DATA with the ability to take an external drive away from the premises each night.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks again everyone for all of your help and support.

Michael
