Hi readers

I am trying to update my bios from version 5.22 (05-07-09) to 5.22 (07-10-09) but a message flashes (using a camcorder to capture message) before me after reboot telling me that it was unable to update due to Bios Update or Checksum Issue.

I don't know what this means but had read about resetting bios settings and cmos settings(taking cmos battery out of motherboard for about 5 mins) but this made no difference.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Why do you want to update your BIOS? should really only update BIOS if your having issues with Hardware? well that's my opinion...if it's not broke don't try and fix it.
