I was having problems starting my computer and running the repair and still errors. So I watch on of Britec's video to fix it and use the command prompt ( c:, boot, fixmr, c:, etc.) and type in the commands and now I have a bigger problem after I restarted my computer. Now it says "Windows Boot Manager" Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might the cause....... My Gateway Desktop do not come with a Window disc. I have Vista. I need help. I wish I never type those commands in. How can I fix it? Please help. My computer is 4 years old. I don't think there's a disk for my old computer to purchase - Gateway desktop.

How can I backup my files before recovering my computer?  I do not want to lose all my data. What can I do? I do have the money to fix it by Gateway or computer tech.

No, what do I need to do?  I have Vista Windows.  The only time the computer tried to repair itself was after my daughter unplug the computer and it tried to repair itself, however, it could not.  So I went to "Command Prompt" and put in the codes from one of your video.

Right now it's stays at the black screen "Windows Boot Manager."
