Hello,
I have the bootmgr is missing error on my Gateway gaming PC. I downloaded the online recovery(I dont have the repair that came with Vista) and burned it onto a disk from neosmart. When I booted it up and went to "repair your computer" it couldn't find an operating system for some odd reason. The box was completely blank. Please help me, because I understand that without an operating system I can't repair my computer. If you know of a free way to fix this problem, please let me know immediately. I'm stuck with a bad situation that is not allowing any access to my computer.
Any solutions would be great
Thank you

 Azn VirusH8er

Welcome to the forum

Sounds like a MBR problem, you could try a rollback, this is how you do a rollback with Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset ( MSDaRT ) ERD5 or ERD6

Did you see a button stating load drivers?
did you click on that button to load the drivers for the system?

is your hard drive showing in the bios?

startup repair can useally only fix mina problems if there was no repair disk with your system did it give you the option at the F8 menu to repair some computer at this point allow you to create a repair disk so you can repair the operating system

Yes, I did try to load the drivers and still nothing.  I made the repair disk off neosmart but Windows Vista isn't being found as my operating system, like it should be.
