Hey,
I run a Gateway PC and have had this problem for over a couple months.  I have forgotten about it but and recently in need of use on that computer. I didn't have a repair disk so I got one off neosmart.net.  When I go to repair the system though, it says there is no operating system to choose.  I have no idea what to do and what info I gathered months ago, I've forgotten.  Help is well appreciated, thanks.

 Azn Jerry.

"no Operating System Found"

Go into BIOS Setup, and see if the BIOS recognizes the hard drive.

When you reboot the computer, and the BIOS logo appears, press either the F2
or F10 keys. Then you should be in your BIOS.

Could be a sign of a hard disk failure. or bad/loose cable or bad/loose molex cable.

 Azn Jerry,
yes this happens from time to time and I have never really worked out why could be wrong version of "Windows" for the CD your booting from for example 32 / 64 bit wrong O/S altogether, XP / Vista / Windows 7 could be looking at the wrong partition all sorts of reasons sorry can't nail it but hope you find some of what i have suggested useful I know how frustrating it can but.

Take care jerry hope your up and running soon

 Wink
