Hi.
Everytime I delete a musicfile or some other file. I still find this particular file on my search-function. And when I try to delete it again (after cleaning my recycle bin) it says that the file isn't in the folder.
But I didn't open the file to begin with. That's really annoying.
Can I delete this files forever without seeing them in my quick-search list? (vista)

Huh? You have lost me, you want to wipe stuff that you deleted? if so then programs like ccleaner will do this.

Erase Data Securely Using CCleaner DOD Standards

CCleaner has become very popular in helping get rid temporary and junk data in our systems,But did you know that just erasing data, ie., just deleting them or even for the sake ” Shift+Del ” deleting can also be recovered using simple tools.

To do away with such problems CCleaner has 3 Secure types of file deletion methods other than the regular Fast Deleting.

   1. 1 Pass Simple Overwrite.
   2. DOD (Department Of Defense) 5220.22-M ( 3 Passes )
   3. NSA 7 Passes

Passes means the number of times your data is overwritten with random alpha numeric values so that the recovery process gets even tougher.

Open CCleaner — > Click Options to The left and then the Settings Tab

Remember that the Secure File Deletion can get Slower as the number of passes increases.

Yes. I understand what you mean but these deleted files in my "windows - start search" are still poppin up when I don't need them.
I tried your 3 steps but it just cleaned all the other stuff I don't care about.  So I wonder if I have to choose some further things on the list of Ccleaner to finally clean the music files..
Any ideas?

I clicked on autocomplete on ccleaner. and I saw that the program cleaned some files again. But it didn't work for the wanted files again..

I explain it from the beginning:
I click on "start menu (with the windows sign)" -  click on "search programs and files" and I type one song. For example "Song 04".
Then I see more than one "song 04" and some of them are the songs that I deleted.
And I don't need them but I can't remove them. And when I click on the song I see a message " can't find data" and I see the possible path to find the data but of course it isn't there cause I deleted it.

Now I want to know which point on ccleaner I have to choose to remove this annoying stuff.

What you need done is a registry clean. CCleaner does this as well and allows you to backup before you do it.

Open CCLeaner - Select the registry button on the far left hand side - Scan for issues on the bottom of the window.

Once it's finished click fix selected issues.

That should do it.

I tried that. But it's the same as before.
You recommend any other program?

I think u have to tick the Box on ccleaner if u want it to clear.
if this does not work you can reindex all your files but this takes some time.
