How many partitions do you have on your hard drive?  Go to my computer and see how drives are under "Hard Disk Drives".  Make sure that if the second one is a recovery partition or not.  If it is a recovery partition and you only have to partitions you will have to create another partition.  If you have 3 partitions you will most likely be able to do it.  Once I have this information I will be able to tell you how to do it.

I read your signature, of if you can't get games to work on Vista try it on virtual machine.  You could do that, but virtual machine only works on one version of Vista, which is Ultimate.  So you would have to use Sun virtual box.  But the only think wrong with doing it on virtual machine is, you have to limit the RAM.  Your computer uses a lot or RAM, specially if it is Vista, well depending on what services you are running, so playing the game requires a lot or RAM overall with the main computer RAM.  What you can try is right clicking on the game application, I don't know if it will work on the shortcut, you might gave to go to the directory of it, to do that just right click on the shortcut and click open file location.  After you have right clicked on the original application of the game, click properties, go to the compatibility tab.  Under compatibility mode, click run this program in compatibility mode for: then on the drop down menu click, Windows XP (Service Pack 2).  Click apply, then okay.  Now try to run the game in Vista, not VPC.  You might have to remake the shortcut, but test it out first, just double click on the main application that you just put into compatibility mode, if it runs, make a shortcut to where ever you want it to be if the shortcut does not work.  All you have to do is right click on it, goto send to, Desktop (Create Shortcut).  After that just drag it anywhere you want it to be.  Start menu, etc...

now for the post above. you do not need vista ultimate to run vpc. i ran it with vista preminum and basic. all work. however i bet most of the topic starters games are from win 95-2000 if so just pick one from the website above. depending on what you would pick you might pick an iso witch would take awhile to install on vpc. or you can use a normal vhd witch limits your hdd space on the vpc. i would pick an iso. its your choice. if you want vpc.
Edit: theres another program. but it might not be an idea cause it would be hard. if you want use dos box.

Oh.  I could not get the Microsoft Virtual PC to work on Windows Vista Home Premium.  At first I did not know why it would not work, but then I read the requirements to use it, and it did not say that it was supported on Vista Home Premium, only thing it said it would work on was Vista Ultimate.  I got that from the direct sight at Microsoft where you download the VPC, so thought what I thought.  So sorry.
