How tp fix error message when trying to log onto forms

Error Please check your cookies settings or try clearing your cookies

this happends to Vista users and windows 7 users maining if the link is broken that redirects your cookies to the new location here is how to fix this problem

1. goto C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies
if you try and run the cookies folder you will get an error message

Access Denied

the reasion is becuase it is a redirect link and is not a shortcut so it will not except you to access the folder for there is nothing to access when microsoft created vista it created these redirect links becuase the original folders needed to have the same name

so each time the computer is trying to reach the cookies folder and it cant this is why you get this message

now what you need to do is go to C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies rightclick
create shortcut then cut that folder and place in location where the link is then you will be able to access the cookies folder and so can the website

2. you need to change some settings in Tools internet options

First goto security tab and select default settings
second change
click on privacy tab and select advanced and check box overide third pary handerling change to except on all radio buddions then check the box allways allow session cookies

now goto secueriy tab and select custom level and then click reset button this will now allow cookies all being well
restart the computer and logon to form this should now allow you to logon to form

one other way if all fails it might mean you need to update you IE download the later version and restart and then that should sort out the problem

Please Leave Comments and Hope this helped
