For some months I get a java update everyday but it won't install. Sometimes it comes more often a day. That's really annoying cause it does nothing and pops up everyday. It says "installation fails"
What can I do?

 Azn mani

Does it give you a error code or message? have you tried to download the latest version from there site? http://www.java.com/en/
and install it manually? if it fails uninstall old one first then install new copy see how that goes.

Hi there,

You might also want to run this small executable, JavaRa, It comes zipped up so just unzip and run. It will remove older versions, search for updates and do a few other tasks.
It is a little old but it does do what it says, this is the latest version. Give it a try. Remember that older versions of Java that are on your system are a prime target, in a lot of cases for virus attack. Hope you find it useful. You can get it free from here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/javara/files/javara/JavaRa/JavaRa.zip/download

Cheers,HTH,
