It is Bradley Hope all are well I need your help for those regedit geeks
I need to edit power options using regedit so that the screen dose not go to sleep and stays on at all times
I am not concened about the screen burning it I know this is not avisible it is not for me it is for someone else
and also set power not turn off the computer after a certain perod so I need them all to say on

I know some where in command prompt there are settings

Command for this is powercfg /?

but I am not sure how to set the values and would prefer to do this though regedit if posss

If anyone can help with the commands in command prompt it will be a geat help so I can complete the issue

so I am looking for the screen to stay on all the time and the computer not to power off after a certain time so basicy set everything to never any help will be
greatley appricated

When you say go to sleep Do you mean the screen saver or power saving

thanks for quick reply I mean power saving setting in power management
I have disabled screen saver altogether and now just got to do the same to power options

Can you not just go to control panel and go power settings.
and right clik on the destop and go property's and go to the screen saver tap for setting there to.

why does it have to be done in cmd or regedit.

Becuase it is been run my a application so I need to enter command and coding it is not a simple as just changing I know how to do it that way but many thanks for your reply Smiley
