Its in german cause I am from Austria.
But the error message is pretty self explainatory. The File in the folder/path is missing (screenshot only viewable when logged in).
it also says: can't find Module (last line on the error message)

Translated:

Error with loading of
(then you see the path anyway)

The indicated module couldn't be found.
(end of message)

in my experience the scanxd~1.dll is malware/spyware or a trojan it is loaded onto your system via free (scam) anti virus programs..free toolbars etc etc you may have had some free software and then removed it and residue is left in the registery..... i would recommend

  • get a good virus removal software program
  • get a good spyware/trojan cleaner

there is several recommended ones here on site just look around.... i personally use AVG/..spybot search and destroy and also malwarebytes but it is down to what you like or find best to use

i hope this helps

Hey. Yes it is true that I had a trojan. But as far as I know I removed all of it with AVG and CCleaner with a secure Scan. (several runs).
But the possiblility is high, that I deleted the file on the mentioned path or is in quarantene.
So I want to know If I can get this certain file back via download or thru browsing the other partitions.  ??  Or at least make the warning-window disappear.

what do you mean can i get this file back ? you want to get rid of it.... it is not part of the necessary files for windows it is part of the virus/trojan as i said get some good spyware/trojan removal software which will clean any residue that is hiding in the reg, once it is removed correctly the pop up (warning) will also stop..

you could try  what i said in last post get a remover....here is  two to be going on with have a look around this site and see what others recommended

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html   ....spybot

http://www.superantispyware.com/   ....superantispyware  download the free edition

im sure members here will let you know off more

The reason you are getting the message is because of a now orphaned start up entry that is trying to link to a non-existant dll file, the dll file was part of some malware you had previously that has now been removed.
You can either go into msconfig > startup tab and untick the offending entry or better still remove the reference completely by going into the registry and deleting its key, location is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
have a look through the entries there and delete the appropriate key
registry editing caveat: make sure you backup your registry before making any changes, just in case.

Hi,

Remove the file from the Startup, if u are new to windows use CCleaner, if u already used to it Use the MSCONFIG and remove all NON-Microsoft services and remove the file from startup

Remove all Toolbars (yahoo,zynga,.....)
remove non-windows Screensavers (those u download)

Download MalwareBytes, install, update, do a Full Scan

get a Good antivirus and avoid using FREE antivirus (Bitdefender and Eset are good choices)

Good luck
