Windows Vista Home Premium
dell
inspiron 1521
service pk 3

I Am having a problem at the moment with the clock each time it is set the time jumps back after a day by 9 hours

I have reset the time in the system Bios and also set the time in command prompt and also set the clock in the clock

properties I am running out of idias what could be the problem and how can I correct it

Hi Bradley

CMOS battery is usually to blame for time synchronization issues. But if the battery is ok try to "Clear CMOS"
Also make sure under your Time Zone Settings ... you are on the correct zone and also that the *Automatically adjust for DST* box is checked you might want to do a synchronize via time.nist.gov to see if that helps.
One last thing install this windows update if you dont have it install.

Thanks Brian I will replace the battary and see if it makes a diffrence at the time i did not think it was the
battary becuase the computer is not all the old 2 years
