hi there to everyone


well ima still having probs with windows,as the installer is still refusing to install some programs i did a complete clean  install of windows and did all the updates that are available  thinking this would sort the problem, but alas no such luck Embarrassed i have looked at various sites to try to find a fix but its like look for a needle in a ...well you get the picture. i've used the windows cleanup tool and i have checked the services....no joy even looked at the microsoft itself  Angry


anyone think of anything that i could try

well a clean install normally fixes any problems to do with the operating system maybe a problem in one of the updates  you may want to disable the UAC settings and see if that helps

well after a few hours search i manage to find a fix for the prob i had Laugh i had to like try different things so it was trial and error of sorts but this seem to do the trick here is the fix that i used

1. At Start type "regedit"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Services
MSIServer

right click on WOW64, select "Modify"
Change Value data from "1" to "0"

2. At "Start" type "run"
type "services.msc"
go to "Windows Installer" and stop and start the program.

3. Reboot computer.

 now everything seems to be installing fine (fingers crossed)
