HI EVERY TIME I TRY TO BOOT THE MACHINE IT COMES UP GIVEN U THE OPTION TO GO IN TO SAFE MODE AND LAST KNOW GOOD CONFIGURATION AND START WINDOWS NORMALLY WHEN YOU GO TO START WINDOWS NORMALLY AND PRESS ENTER ON IT.THE THE TIME UNTIL WINDOWS STARTS JAMS UP AND THE TIME WONT GO DOWN OR UP IN TIME.AND THEN NOTHING HAPPENS U STILL CARNT BOOT UP XP.IV TRIED THE USLE REPAIR OPTIONS LIKE FIXMBR FIXBOOT CHKDSK BUT STILL CARNT BOOT XP HOME EDITION.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE. THANKS ETHAN.

Hi Ethan,

I have moved your topic to windows xp support where it belongs, also can you Not type in CAPS please.

Ok when you said you have tried chkdsk, do you mean you have tried chkdsk /p and chkdsk /r if not then please try these and when finished type fixboot
after each command, then exit and try to boot machine.

so type chkdsk /p (when finished)
type fixboot
type exit (reboot)

if it dont work repeat process but use chkdsk /r

let us know if it works

iv tryed and dosent seems to have solved the problem iv still got the problem.

Did you have system restore function activated when it worked in windows?

Try a reapir install your data will be fine.
